Upcoming Clothing Drive
BPC will be staging a clothing drive on the Sundays of January 25th and February 1st for The People Concern, our non-profit mission partner serving the poor and homeless. They are in urgent need of specific "gently used" clothing items, especially for Men:
Any warm winter clothing: coats, jackets, rain ponchos, gloves
Sweatpants, sweatshirts, pants, non-dress shoes, long-sleeve shirts, soft leggings — sizes M–XL
New undergarments: underwear & socks
Blankets
Bins will be in the narthex and outside the office for the collection. Help others stay warm this winter!

ONLINE TOOL TO HELP L.A.’S HOMELESS
There’s a brand new online tool in LA to help the homeless: LA-HOP, the first of its kind. Anybody with a cell phone or computer can use it. Here’s how it works: If you see someone on the street who needs help, go to LA-HOP.com. type in the location and describe the situation. An outreach team will then look into getting them the services they need. LA-HOP is not for medical or mental emergencies nor for reporting crime, but it does allow you to help someone in need. Learn more, go to https://www.lahsa.org/portal/apps/la-hop/.
