  • Spiritual Life Retreat

    October 23-25, we will be engaging in this special BPC tradition at Saint Andrew’s Abbey in Valyermo. Rev. Dr. Laura Harbert will be taking us through “The Grace of Learning”: the idea that true healing comes not through fixing, but through surrender and grace. The cost is $245/person for a single or $200/person for a shared room, and registration closes Thursday, October 8, so if you’re interested, email Erika for a form.

  • Wine & The Word

    On Saturday, October 17, 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the LoMonaco home, enjoy a selection of wines from our resident sommelier, Michael Fiorina, paired with light appetizers. Dress is casual, but bring a light jacket for a cool evening outdoors. The fee is $30/person or two tickets for $50. Please RSVP to Erika to receive the address!

  • Grief & Loss Workshop

    Congregational Care Ministry is sponsoring a Grief and Loss workshop on Sunday, October 18 at 11:15 AM in the Garden Room. A speaker from the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health will present the program.Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to the church office by emailing Erika.   • BPC Young Adults: Pizza & Pickleball

    Join us on Sunday, October 25th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM starting in the Fellowship Hall for food, fun, and fellowship. All young adults are welcome!

  • Service of Remembrance

    Our annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday, November 1 at 2:00 PM in the Sanctuary. Please join us for this special service of music, prayer and meditation. As is our tradition, we will read the names of those who have died. If you want the name of a loved one read in the service, please email their names and how to pronounce them to Erika Feresten in the church office. Please submit names by Monday, October 26.

    Loving Stitches

    Thursdays, 11 AM – 2 PM in the Garden Room at BPC.  Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher, knitter, crocheter, or just learning all are welcome to join!

    Pickleball

    Whether you are a newbie wanting to learn or an experienced player come join us in Fellowship Hall every Tuesday from 6-8 pm to make new friends and have fun playing America’s fastest growing sport.   Wear athletic shoes and clothes, we’ll provide everything else you need.  To sign up, click the link below.

    Music Ministry

    The Praise Choir Needs You! Come join this amazing group of singers for some fun on Thursday evenings and to lead worship at our 10am service. 100% attendance is not required, only an enthusiasm for singing! Rehearsals are in the choir room behind the sanctuary at 7:00 pm each Thursday. Text Nancy at 310-736-8338 for more details.

    Our Christmas Choir begins rehearsals on Saturday, October 17 at 9:00 AM in the Garden Room and rehearses on Thursday’s October 22 - December 10 from 7:00 - 7:50 PM in the Choir Room. The choir will then perform on Sunday, December 13 at a 4:00 PM concert in the Sanctuary. No experience is necessary. Please text or email Nancy with any questions: 310-736-8338.
