Snapshot of Middle School Ministry
Sundays for Middle School youth begin in the mornings. We gather at 10:00 in the Youth Lounge for God Squad, T’Shuva’s Sunday School. In the evenings, we meet in the youth lounge from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for fellowship and fun.
BPC’s Middle School youth also enjoy many special events throughout the year. We regularly go on road trips to fun spots around the area, like Boomers Family Fun Center, local bowling lanes or Cold Stone Creamery. Fright Night, a Halloween-themed night is when the middle schoolers come dressed in costume and solve a "scary" mystery. Overnighters, also affectionately called "lock-ins," are held several times a year, and usually include an outing (for laser tag, bowling, miniature golfing, etc.), returning to BPC for a night of games and movies. During the summer there’s Summer X Camp, a fun-filled weekend camping trip where we camp out under the stars, go to the beach, hike and play games at night.
BPC middle schoolers are invited to join the Leadership Group, comprised of middle school (and a few high school) students, as well as youth sponsors. The Leadership Group plans special middle school youth events and brainstorms cool ideas for the other events for middle school youth group.
