Creative Arts Network

Creative Arts Network (C.A.N.) is a loosely organized group of talented Christians using their God-given gifts and talents in the worship of God in church. We are organized into 5 teams, which meet several times per year and seasonally as needed:

Drama Team works with the Worship Planning team and the acting/writing community at BPC to bring drama, monologues, poetry and movement to the worship services. Contact team leader Valorie Hubbard at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Sanctuary Decorating Team works with the Worship Planning team to bring the seasons of the church year and the themes of our teachings to life through banners, plants, wreaths, seasonal decorations, etc. Contact team leader Paula Treharne at (310) 828-2565.

Writing Team works with the Worship Planning team and the Drama Team to write dramas, monologues, poetry to bring to drama and story telling elements to the worship services. Contact team leader Jana Tether at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Film Series Team sponsors film viewing, lectures and dialogue to help us understand how film, popular culture and faith weave together. Contact team leader Eric David at (JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Summer Art Fair Team gives us the opportunity to see that visual artists of all ages and experiences abound in our midst. The fair includes paintings, sculpture, flower arranging, photography, pottery, etc. The fair is usually accompanied by a Sunday-themed Creative Arts Sunday.
