Yaounde, Cameroon Covenant Relationship

In 2006 the Sessions of PC Bastos and Brentwood Presbyterian Church signed a partnership covenant which affirms the desire to do mutually respectful ministry together. 

BPC sent a delegation to Cameroon in 2005 and PC Bastos returned the visit in 2007. The president of the Bastos congregation as well as PC(USA) mission co-workers with Cameroon visited our congregation in 2006. Our Interim Pastor and Clerk of Session attended the 50th anniversary of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon in 2007. A PC(USA) mission co-worker serving with Cameroon as a HIV/AIDS specialist spoke at BPC in 2009.

The relationship between the two congregations is growing with the shared goal of building friendships and trust with the intention of doing ministry together as equal partners seeking mutual spiritual transformation.
