Common Ground
Founded in 1992, Common Ground-The Westside HIV Community Center is the only local agency on the westside of Los Angeles devoted to providing a full range of services to people living with HIV and AIDS. Over the past several years, the organization has helped hundreds of people living with HIV/AIDS and reached thousands more with prevention education. It strives to ensure that people of diverse backgrounds – youth, those living in poverty, people without homes – have access to its services, which include HIV testing, case management, medication management, mental health care, and health care. Its service area is north to Malibu, south to Los Angeles International Airport, west to the Pacific Ocean and east to the 405 Freeway.
