How Long, Wide, Deep and High Sermon Series
We have spent the year talking about our annual theme “Share the Love” and just finished celebrating God’s ultimate love letter to humanity in the suffering, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. On Easter morning, God proved once and for all that there was literally NOTHING God wouldn’t do to reconcile us back into relationship. It was, as U2’s Bono so beautifully sings it, “The day love came to town.”
But exactly what does that love look like and feel like? What is the nature of God’s love for us? What are its limits, its boundaries and what can we do to jeopardize it, lose it, or make God’s promise null and void? Join us as we move from Easter into Easter-tide by dissecting together Paul’s great prayer at the end of his letter to the Ephesians; as we explore the dimensions, the character, the scope of God’s great unconditional love for us. How long, how wide, how deep and how high is God’s love for us?
