Service Opportunities
Join the Worship and Music Media Team - Media Support Specialists
are needed to run the Sanctuary audio/video systems. If you have
audio/video experience, or if you'd like to learn, please join this
vital ministry. The time commitment is as little as one Sunday per
month and you will make a big contribution by helping to create
a meaningful worship experience at BPC. Contact Bill Blanke or Sally

to Sally.
Caregiving Ministry Needs Writers with Heart - Would you like to
write an occasional birthday, get-well, or condolence card to a
BPC member? Caregiving is looking for compassionate writers to join
with them in their Correspondence Ministry. Contact Zelda Kuehne
through the Church Office at 310-826-5656.
Lend a hand at My Friends Place - My Friend's Place, one of BPC's
mission partners, is dedicated to serving youth without homes who
live on the streets of Hollywood. Help is needed: Sundays, 3:00
- 4:00 PM, with leading an arts and crafts workshop; Saturdays,
9:00-11:00 AM, with weekly food shopping trips. Contact Ivan Tether
through the Church Office at 310-826-5656.
Welcome & Discovery Ministry - Help is needed on the Patio on
Sunday mornings after services and at new member events. This is
a great opportunity if you would like to meet people and work with
a joyful ministry. If you can assist 1-2 Sundays a month after a
service, or at new member events, contact Sue Fisher at 310-826-5656,
ext. 3161.
Common Ground Volunteers Needed - To pick up, deliver
and distribute food twice a month to Common Ground, a Westside agency
devoted to serving those with HIV and AIDS. Contact Wade Huie through
the Church Office at 310-826-5656.
Caregiving Ministry needs drivers to help members who would otherwise
not be able to come to church on Sunday or for Bible studies and
special events. If you can provide one ride per month, or every
other month, please contact the Church Office at 310-826-5656.
