Mission
Every
person is a minister
called to bring hope and relieve suffering
in our community and our world.
Guided by God
in its commitment to this belief, Mission Ministry works to inspire,
educate and support members in ministering to the local community
as well as our global extended family. Christ calls us to such service,
and the Mission Committee connects people with meaningful ways to
live out their responses to this call.
An individual
can serve right here in Los Angeles on a single afternoon, or respond
to opportunities in places like Africa or Nicaragua for two weeks
- or explore personal calls for up to three years.
