BPCKidz
BPCKidz is for
children ages birth through 5th grade. All children, regardless
of parents' membership status, are welcome to participate in this
program, which takes place during the 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship service
and runs through the end of that service, around 10:30 a.m. Children
ages birth to pre-kindergarten are in their classrooms throughout
the entire 9:30 a.m. service.
Children in
kindergarten through 5th grade accompany their parents to the Sanctuary
for the first part of the service for opening prayers, songs, and
a "Lesson for Life" designed for the children. After this
portion of the service, the children leave for their BPCKidz worship
time. Several times a year, children remain in worship for the entire
service, and on those Sundays, they participate in prayers and Scripture
reading, and the sermon takes account of their presence.
BPCKidz worship
time is designed to assist children in their spiritual formation
by conveying the Gospel message, familiarizing them with the Bible,
and leading them in their own special worship.
BPCKidz Registration
The Children's Ministry encourages parents to register their children
in August and September each year (registration forms are mailed
out), but late registration is accepted at any time throughout the
year, and visitors are always welcome.
